Brandon Dillard threw for 32 yards on six of 17 attempts. Nj Swinney was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards. On the ground, Conrad Valenzuela rushed for 29 yards.
Jersey Village got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Tran out in front who threw for 145 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Quinton Jones, who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Northbrook's loss was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 1-9 Spring Woods and 2-7 Cypress Creek (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39.4% over those games). As for Jersey Village, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Northbrook will head out on the road to face off against Spring Woods at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Spring Woods is ranked 1098th, while Northbrook is ranked 1108th). As for Jersey Village, they will look to defend their home field on November 4th against Stratford at 1:00 p.m. Stratford has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 211 points over their last four games.
