 At the plate,  Zach Neeld was a standout: he went 2-for-2 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Jimmy Casey, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Holy Ghost Prep's way against Dock Mennonite on Thursday as Holy Ghost Prep made off with  a  10-0 victory.
  Mathew Riendeau looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched.  Dalton Dydak relieved him and did a solid job,   tossing  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 On the hitting side,  Joey Amati was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 3-for-3.  Matthew Evans was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Archbishop Wood came up short against Holy Ghost Prep when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, falling  10-7. Thankfully for Archbishop Wood,  Aiden Robbins (who  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
