Calvary Christian Academy has not had much luck with Pine Crest recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Calvary Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Taryn Wakefield scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Camryn Kanell, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Pine Crest was led to victory by Franky Garfi and Isabella M sangha. Garfi dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while M sangha dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. M sangha is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Hailey Holland was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Calvary Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Pine Crest, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
