Even though The Lenoir City Panthers have not done well against the Karns Beavers recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Lenoir City simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Karns 55-13 on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Lenoir City's 12-point performance the match before.
Trey Wilhite had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 229 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes. Wilhite is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played. Victor Jones iii was another key contributor, rushing for 53 yards and a touchdown.
Lenoir City's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Karns, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
