Nebraska Christian had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came out on top against the Shelby-Rising City Huskies by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: Shelby-Rising City scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

Nebraska Christian's offense was headlined by Taytum Perdew and Reagan Norris, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Adeline Hunnicutt and her 28 assists. Emma Rathjen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Nebraska Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Shelby-Rising City, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Nebraska Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fullerton on the 7th. As for Shelby-Rising City, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Schuyler on the 7th.
