Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Harmony Mills, who shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 45.2% of Independence's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Lacey Goodson, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
WestSide now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Independence, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.
