The Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to  take on the Whitmore Lake Trojans  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Whitmore Lake will  challenge  a team with plenty of momentum: Plymouth Christian Academy extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past Clarenceville 16-1. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Clara Groen was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in June of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mariah Wright, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run marked the first that  she has  launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chloe Paryaski, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 Plymouth Christian Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Whitmore Lake made easy work of Parkway Christian  on Tuesday and carried off  an  18-3 win.
 The  victory  got Plymouth Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Whitmore Lake,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Everything went Plymouth Christian Academy's way against Whitmore Lake in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, as Plymouth Christian Academy made off with  a  16-0 victory.
