Axtell entered their tilt with Sacred Heart on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Irish. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

While Axtell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22.

Axtell's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Sacred Heart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Axtell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Doniphan West on the 30th. As for Sacred Heart, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Freeman on the 30th.
