The Ardrey Kell Knights will head out on the road to face off against the West Forsyth Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ardrey Kell will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Ardrey Kell put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against Palisades as Ardrey Kell made off with a 28-3 win.
Ardrey Kell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Will Ryland led the charge by throwing for 262 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Chancellor Bryant did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 67 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, West Forsyth faced East Forsyth in a battle between two of the state's top teams. West Forsyth took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Forsyth on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Despite the loss, West Forsyth got a solid performance out of Caman Chaplin, who rushed for 283 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Chaplin is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played. Darell Paige also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
With Ardrey Kell's win and West Forsyth's loss, both teams now sport identical 7-3 records.
