The Rossford Bulldogs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They fell 36-24 to Fostoria. Rossford was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fostoria apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Trenten Smith was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns.
Rossford's loss was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.7 points per game. As for Fostoria, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Rossford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fostoria is also done with their season.
