Winter Springs has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Hagerty has won ten straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. Winter Springs will welcome Hagerty at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Winter Springs 1.9, Hagerty 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Winter Springs' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Oviedo as Winter Springs made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bears have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tiffany Seemann made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Madison Barahona looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Alondra Maldonado and Lilly Clark did most of the damage at the plate: Maldonado scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Clark scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Reed, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Winter Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oviedo only posted an OBP of .261.
Meanwhile, Hagerty had just enough and edged out Lake Mary 7-5 on Wednesday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Hagerty also got a great performance from Alexis Williamson as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Ana Roman was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Alina Gallaher was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Hagerty's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Winter Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Winter Springs hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. However, it's not like Hagerty struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Winter Springs came up short against Hagerty in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 5-2. Will Winter Springs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
