On Friday, The American Leadership Academy Patriots faced the Williams Field Black Hawks in a battle between two of the state's top teams. American Leadership Academy came out on top against Williams Field by a score of 55-47. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for American Leadership Academy's 11-point performance the matchup before.
Enoch Watson was on fire: he threw for 326 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Jayden Williams was another key contributor, picking up 149 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Dylan Lee and Xavier Buckles certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Lee gained 433 total yards and two touchdowns, while Buckles rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Lee was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.

American Leadership Academy will head out on the road to face off against Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Tait Reynolds and Watson. As for Williams Field, they will be playing at home against Higley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Higley is ranked 16th, while Williams Field is ranked 17th).
