In what's become a running theme this season, Carolina M gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Emerson Waldorf 54-22 at home. Carolina M pushed the score to 41-18 by the end of the third, a deficit Emerson Waldorf had little chance of recovering from.
Carolina M's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abigail Faison, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Catie Alexander, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Chatham HomeSchool's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Guilford HomeSchool.
Carolina M pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.
Carolina M was taken down by Chatham HomeSchool 52-16 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Carolina M avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
