The Limon Badgers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 50-45 W over Wiggins. That's another feather in the cap for Limon, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Limon can attribute much of their success to Jentri Marx, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Tacha, who scored 12 points.
Limon's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Wiggins, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Limon will be playing in front of their home fans against Peyton at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wiggins, they will take on Simla at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
