Homestead has been on the road for two straight, but  on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Carroll Chargers at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 After only two  runs in their last  game, Homestead made sure to put some  runs up on the board against New Haven  back in March. Everything went Homestead's way against New Haven as Homestead made off with  a  23-2 victory.
  Addie May Fleming made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   one  hit. Fleming was even better at the plate,  firing off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Isabelle Waldron was a standout: she got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Peyton Renier was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Carroll never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Garrett as Carroll made off with  an  18-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Carroll.
 The  victory  got Homestead back to even at 1-1. As for Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Homestead skirted past Carroll  2-1 in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Does  Homestead have another victory up their sleeve, or will Carroll turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
