Maddox Maher Turns in Season-Best Performance
Maddox Maher produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Dripping Springs to the win on Friday. Maher threw for 233 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 67 yards on only five carries.
Dripping Springs' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Maher and Dripping Springs will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on November 8th.

Elliott Schaper Delivers Best Performance of Season
Westlake was led to victory by Elliott Schaper, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Schaper picked up three sacks, made 16 total tackles (5.0 for loss), and defended a pass.

Bowie found a leader in Kayson Mathabela as the team took down Akins on Thursday. Nobody could stop Mathabela as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.
This year, Mathabela has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 85 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 38.38 rushing yards per game.

Bennett and Westlake will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Valle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
