Vincent also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Hackberry is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 3-6 otherwise. At the plate,  Vincent  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Murphy  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Murphy a new career-high in  RBI (three).

 In other batting news,  Lane Gray was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Wyatt Poole, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Hackberry was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .407 or higher in four consecutive  matches.
Hackberry's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-6. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Cameron,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-8.
 Looking ahead, South Cameron will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Starks  at 5:00  p.m. Hackberry will be paying especially close attention to the Tarpons'  contest: after the Tarpons faces off against the Panthers, they'll take on Hackberry again  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
