Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 42-0 loss at the hands of Crestwood. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, Orangeburg-Wilkinson couldn't push the score so high this time.
It was another big night for Azarian Yates, who rushed for 145 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Yates hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games. Jeremie Richardson also helped out with an impressive 114 receiving yards.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Crestwood, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crestwood will take on Beaufort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jadyn Andrews and Yates.
