Cypress Ridge is 1-8-1 against Cypress Creek since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cypress Ridge Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cypress Creek Cougars at 7:15 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Cypress Ridge fell victim to Stratford's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their tough 5-0 loss to the Spartans might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Cypress Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while Stratford is ranked 39th).
Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, Cypress Creek was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They and Spring Woods finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

This is the second loss in a row for Cypress Ridge and nudges their season record down to 5-5. With that draw, Cypress Creek's record moves to 2-8-5.
Cypress Ridge came up short against Cypress Creek in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Cypress Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
