 Leading Marshall to victory were  Chloe Johnson and  Candice Ndomb.  Johnson  went 12-for-19  to rack up 30  points and three  steals, while  Ndomb  dropped  a double-double with 20 points and ten  steals. Johnson's afternoon made it 16 games in a row in which  she has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cairin Berger, who  posted 16  points in addition to seven  boards and three  steals.
 Perham's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kaia Anderson, who  went 8-for-17  en route to 21 points and six  assists. Anderson is also on a roll when it comes to  shooting accuracy, as she's  posted one of at least 47% in the last eight games she's  played.  Sophie Nelson was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with 13  points and 13  rebounds.
Marshall's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Perham, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
 Marshall has already played their next match,  a  92-63  victory against Mesabi East on the 13th. As for Perham, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  62-32  win against Staples-Motley on the 11th.
