Nottingham can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the New Egypt Warriors 31-28. The Northstars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Nottingham's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for New Egypt, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nottingham will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Bordentown at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Egypt, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hightstown at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
