The Lakes Eagles lost against the Wauconda Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lakes received a tough blow as they fell 51-32 to Wauconda.
Despite the loss, Lakes had strong showings from Madison Twarling, who scored 13 points along with three steals, and Jessica Ross, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Wauconda, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakes will take on North Chicago at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Chicago is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Wauconda, they will be playing at home against Grant Community at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
