Despite the loss, Cocke County still got an impressive performance from Kyler Hayes, who scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds. Hayes scored a full 41.7% of Cocke County's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Fine, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Cocke County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for David Crockett, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Cocke County will head out on the road to face off against Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seymour is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. David Crockett will take on Daniel Boone at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Daniel Boone has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three contests.
