Anderson Prep Academy is 0-4 against Bethesda Christian since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Anderson Prep Academy Jets will head out on the road to  square off against  the Bethesda Christian Patriots at 5:30  p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
 Anderson Prep Academy took a loss when they played away from home  on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-4 margin over Muncie Burris. Anderson Prep Academy's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Julian Tyler made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out 17 batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. Tyler has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts every time he's  pitched this season. Tyler was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Skylar Brough was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  CJ Fletcher, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Bethesda Christian gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They put the hurt on Herron with a sharp  16-1 win.
  Isaiah Giegerich was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.  Mathieu Thompson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Anderson Prep Academy's record is now 2-4. As for Bethesda Christian, their record now sits at 4-7.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Anderson Prep Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bethesda Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9.2. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Anderson Prep Academy might still be hurting after the  18-5 loss they got from Bethesda Christian  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2022. Can Anderson Prep Academy avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
