The Carver Vo-Tech Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Poly Engineers at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Carver Vo-Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 14 matches -- so hopefully Poly likes a good challenge.
Even though Carver Vo-Tech has not done well against City College recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Carver Vo-Tech slipped by City College 62-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Dorrian Sands continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Desmond Handon, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
