Corina Miller looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Kaneland and Morris, and Kaneland kept the tradition alive. The Knights came out on top against the Redskins by a score of 9-6 on Monday. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly three runs.
Brynn Woods made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

As for Aurora Central Catholic, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-8.
Both Aurora Central Catholic and Kaneland just can't seem to miss. The Chargers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Kaneland struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Aurora Central Catholic suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Kaneland when the teams last played back in May of 2018. Can the Chargers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
