Perkins-Tryon is 8-0 against McLoud since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Perkins-Tryon Demons will be playing at home against the McLoud Redskins at 7:00 p.m. Perkins-Tryon is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Perkins-Tryon can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat North Rock Creek 43-7 at home. Given Perkins-Tryon's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while North Rock Creek is ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Perkins-Tryon can attribute much of their success to Eric Stevenson, who rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns, and Wyatt Atkinson, who rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Atkinson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
Meanwhile, McLoud had to suffer through a rough 42-3 loss at the hands of Kingfisher.
Perkins-Tryon's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33 points. As for McLoud, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Everything came up roses for Perkins-Tryon against McLoud in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 34-0 victory. Does Perkins-Tryon have another victory up their sleeve, or will McLoud turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
