DSST: Green Valley Ranch hasn't had much luck against Resurrection Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors will venture away from home to face off against the Resurrection Christian Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, DSST: Green Valley Ranch needed a bit of extra time to put away Colorado Academy. They snuck past the Mustangs with a 45-40 victory. The 45-point effort marked the Raptors' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The dominant performance gave Umo a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tong Bot, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Resurrection Christian had already won 15 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 54-46 win over the Hornets.

Resurrection Christian's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, their record now sits at 2-3.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch came up short against Resurrection Christian in their previous meeting back in February, falling 62-49. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Resurrection Christian's Ty Yoder, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points.
