Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland came within a touchdown against Assumption last Thursday, but wound up with a 21-28 loss.
Meanwhile, we expected Liberty to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked North Scott, and they did. Liberty ended up on the wrong side of a painful 15-44 walloping at North Scott's hands. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Liberty.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
