It was a good run, but The Tri Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Milan 14-8. The low total for Tri limited their streak of high-flying scores to four in a row.
Mason Green was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Milan also got a significant boost from Austin Green, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
Tri's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Milan, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-3.
Tri does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Milan will be playing at home against North Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Decatur knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Milan likes a good challenge.
