Crest put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Northeast Vikings 15-5. Fans of the Lancers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Kade Nilges made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Henry White, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Will Disbrow also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Crest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .314 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Crest's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crest will face off against Yates Center at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast, they will challenge Riverton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
