Crest put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Northeast Vikings 15-5. Fans of the Lancers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Kade Nilges made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Henry White, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Will Disbrow also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
