The biggest upset of the week belonged to Gore, who took down 172nd ranked Gore, 41-22.
Clark Austin and Trevor Crone provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Quinton. The connection went for 56 yards, the longest such play in A District 6 this season.
Talihina's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin threw for 112 and two touchdowns and Crone had 86 yards receiving. On the ground Tucker Trowbridge chipped in 107 yards. Alan Lockhart helped Talihina's passing attack out by catching two balls for 17 yards.
Talihina's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Golden Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin has thrown for 248 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Crone has 12 catches for 158 yards. Austin also leads the league in rushing with 430 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Pirates take on Canadian. Gore is currently in fourth, while the Cougars are in third.
The Golden Tigers extended the longest winning streak in A District 6 this week by beating the Savages, 35-14. The win marks fourth in a row for the Talihina.
