On Monday, Williams was able to grind out a solid victory over Hough, taking the game 65-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Williams.
Brian Williams was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 22 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Milton Turner, who scored 11 points.
Williams' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Hough, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams will take on Cedar Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Ridge is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Hough, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopewell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Hough likes a good challenge.
