3A Region II District 14 recap October 1, 2013
Rains moved up to 635 from 663 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region II District 14. The Wildcats were able to move up by falling to Harmony 20-13.
Kaufman was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. The Lions beat Mabank 55-7 earlier in the week.
Jon Humphries was a passing and rushing force as Ford lost to North Lamar.
Dilan House was the best receiver in the league this week as Rains lost to the Eagles.
6-foot-3 quarterback Ryan Ratliff of Derek Smith's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 400. He has also thrown 7 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cameron Duncan. The Kaufman star has 11 catches for 139 yards.
Kaufman took down the Panthers 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
