Northside entered their tilt with Peabody on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 22-19 win over the Warhorses. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 35-19 on Saturday.

Northside's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Peabody, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Looking ahead, Northside will welcome Abbeville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.86 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Peabody, they will head out to square off against Pitkin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Warhorses' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
