Even though the Harrison Central Red Rebels scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, the St. Paul's Wolves still came out on top. St. Paul's took their match against Harrison Central 69-58.
Several Red Rebels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mickey Ducksworth, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Murray, who scored 16 points.
St. Paul's has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Harrison Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
St. Paul's will be playing at home against Loranger at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loranger is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Harrison Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Pascagoula at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pascagoula will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
