John F. Kennedy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Precious Elam, who scored 17 points. Elam is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shanaiya Ford, who scored 17 points.
John Marshall's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for John F. Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
