Ten must be DeSales's lucky number: they beat Dayton with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Irish put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-1 victory. The Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for DeSales, bringing their record up to 12-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dayton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
