The Bloomfield Warhawks put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Northwest Catholic, posting a 40-0 win at home. The result was nothing new for Bloomfield, who have now won four matches by 35 points or more so far this season.
Davien Kerr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 117 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Kerr was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Another player making a difference was Darrien Foster, who threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes.
Bloomfield's victory was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 5-0. As for Northwest Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Bloomfield will head out on the road to face off against Lewis Mills at 12:00 p.m. on October 28th. Lewis Mills comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Northwest Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tolland at 10:30 a.m. on October 28th.
