Legacy is 2-7 against Boulder since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Legacy Lightning will be staying on the road to face off against the Boulder Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Legacy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
Legacy posted their closest victory since November 27, 2023 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Broomfield 53-50. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, as Legacy did.
It was another big night for Ari Harpring, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Joey Delescinskis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, even though Westminster scored an imposing 58 points on Monday, Boulder still came out on top. Boulder walked away with a 69-58 win over Westminster.
Legacy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Boulder, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Legacy beat Boulder 53-42 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Legacy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
