The Warsaw Wildcats lost against the Skyline Tigers back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Warsaw suffered a rough 71-45 defeat at the hands of Skyline. Warsaw has not had much luck with Skyline recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Logan Gemes and Noah Siebert certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Gemes scored 26 points, while Siebert scored 11 points. Gemes scored a full 57.8% of Warsaw's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Warsaw now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Skyline, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warsaw will play host again and welcome Osceola, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Wheatland at 6:00 p.m.
