This Week's Big Showdown
On paper, the match between St. Joseph Regional (3rd in the power rankings) and Don Bosco Prep (10th) looked as though it might be one of the more compelling ones, but things did not play out that way on the field. St. Joseph Regional found its leader in an underclassman: Audric Estime earned one touchdown and 129 yards rushing the ball, which was enough to make him one of the team's best players.
No Stoppin 'Em
Penns Grove was heavily favored to win coming into its game last week, and the results showcase why. It picked up a decisive 'W' against Cumberland, finishing up at 69 - 16. Penns Grove had two big standouts, as senior Tyreke Brown ran for 61 yards and also punched in two touchdowns, while junior Kavon Lewis tossed the ball for 157 yards and four TDs. The combined 85-point effort made this the highest-scoring game in the power rankings for the week.
