On Friday, the Chiles Timberwolves's game was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Munroe with a 31-25 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chiles.
Chiles was led to victory by Faith Durden and Lainey Crisafulli. Durden scored 12 points along with nine rebounds, while Crisafulli scored six points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Durden has scored at least a third of Chiles' points.
Chiles' victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Munroe, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Chiles won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maclay at 5:00 p.m. on January 13th. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Lauren Guyer and Durden. Munroe's road trip will continue as they head out to face L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th.
