The Wausaukee Rangers had a rough go of it last December when they matched up with the Crivitz Wolverines and had to endure more of the same last week. Wausaukee took a 72-63 hit to the loss column. Their defeat came despite an improvement on an already decent score in their previous defeat against Wabeno/Laona.
The Rangers' loss pushed them down to 10-6. The win bumped Crivitz's record up to 12-4.
Wausaukee will take on Oneida Nation on Tuesday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup. Crivitz has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Coleman on Tuesday. Coleman is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 49-34 victory over Wabeno/Laona last Friday.
