Cornerstone Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Pineview Christian Warriors with a sharp 22-9 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Colby Harrison was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-6. Those five runs gave him a new career-high.
