The Golden Eagles' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing five hits and one walks to lead the league in both categories. Surry Central has given up a mere 202 hits on the year, while striking out 225 opposing hitters.
Hunter Smith is the leader in that category with 105 Ks on the season.
The Wildcats racked up a league-leading 234 hits this week, bringing their total to 234 on the year, also tops in the league.
Dustin Chunn has a team-high 44 hits on the season for first-place West Stokes, which went 0-0 this week.
