The Crystal Springs Tigers lost against the Magee Trojans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Crystal Springs fell 48-38 to Magee.
It was another big night for Nicole Sandifer, who scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for Magee. That makes it 28 consecutive games in which Sandifer has scored at least a third of Magee's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zylynda Funches, who scored five points along with 14 rebounds and two steals.
Crystal Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Magee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-17.
Crystal Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Magee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-49 loss vs. Jefferson Davis County on the 9th.
