Even though the White House Blue Devils have not done well against the Station Camp Bison recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. White House narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bison 48-46. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points White House has scored all year.
White House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dawson Carson out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Romeo Cantrell, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory was the fourth in a row for White House, bringing their record for this year to 16-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Station Camp, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
White House will take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Portland is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Station Camp, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenbrier will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
