The Littlestown Thunderbolts will head out to square off against the Susquehannock Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Littlestown was able to grind out a solid win over Biglerville, taking the game 9-5. The victory continues a trend for the Thunderbolts in their matchups with the Canners: they've now won five in a row.

Littlestown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylen Branham, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The Thunderbolts are 2-1 when Branham posts two or more runs, but 3-4-1 otherwise. Isaac Olvera also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Susquehannock ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past Spring Grove 7-5. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Nick Bender made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jaydon Sipe and Andrew Unglesbee did most of the damage at the plate: Sipe went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Unglesbee went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits Unglesbee has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brayden Krebs, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Susquehannock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.
The win got Littlestown back to even at 5-5-1. As for Susquehannock, their record now sits at 8-3.
Littlestown couldn't quite get it done against Susquehannock when the teams last played back in May of 2022 as they fell 7-4. Can the Thunderbolts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
