Kinston Crater Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Starmount got the W thanks in part to Kinston Crater playing the best football he has all season. Crater rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023.
Crater is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against South Stokes on Thursday. Crater rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries the last time he and the Sauras duked it out back in October of 2023.

Blackburn Came Up Big in East Wilkes' 15-10 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Phoenix Blackburn stepped things up a notch to give East Wilkes the 'W'. Nobody could stop Blackburn as he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
East Wilkes' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Blackburn and East Wilkes will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Alleghany at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
